A very familiar face at Arts Fresco over the years, Dr Palfi has been given a special pass for the weekend and allowed out into the town as part of his ‘community rehabilitation’ scheme.

If you have not seen him before, Dr Palfi is not your average clown…he is (drum roll please)…a ‘Consultant Laughologist’. He has sold out at the Edinburgh Festival receiving 5 Star Reviews and last year performed at Glastonbury Festival, Galway Arts Festival, Belfast Waterfront, Castleblayney Festival, Bangor Summer of Fun, Winchester Hat Fair, Belfast Festival of Fools, The Children’s World Festivals in Glastonbury and Bristol, Aberdeen Youth Festival and the list goes on…

With over forty-five years clowning experience under his…erm… braces, Dr Palfi has developed a deep understanding of children’s humour, a skill which enables him to improvise much of his fifty minute sketch. Incorporating classic slapstick clown antics and pantomime humour as secondary parts of his routine, Palfi gives clowning a contemporary edge. Find him in St. Marys Place.
