Getting To Arts Fresco 2011

Arts Fresco 2011 takes place in Welland Park.

Welland Park is located at the centre of Market Harborough – a short distance walk from Market Harborough’s Town Centre – along its picturesque Millennium Mile walk.

Getting Here – on foot / by bicycle

We actively encourage festival goers to help reduce their carbon footprint by thinking of greener ways of travel. The festival is approximately 3/4 minutes walk, or 2 minutes cycle ride from Market Harborough Town Centre.

We encourage people to enjoy a walk or cycle along Market Harborough’s Millenium Mile, from the Town Centre, to arrive at our festival site.

The festival main entrance is found at the east side of Welland Park.

Train

Welland Park is approximately 15 minutes walk, or 10 minutes cycle ride, from the mainline railway station. Market Harborough mainline station lies on the Midland Mainline, linking Market Harborough to London, Kettering, Wellingborough etc in the south and to Loughborough, Nottingham, Derby, Chesterfield, Sheffield and Leeds in the North.

By car

Welland Park is located behind Coventry Road (A304), off Farndon Road / Welland Park Road.

Parking

There is very limited parking available at Welland Park, and we advise people who wish to drive to Arts Fresco, to park at the Town’s main car parks. Blue Badge Holders

There is parking available for Blue Badge Holders at the Farndon Road car park at Festival opening times. Parking spaces at this location are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
